Yoga is a wonderful practice to undertake to assist with upper and lower back aches and pains. Not only does it help to stretch and soothe our bodies to assist with the aches, it also allows us to become more in tune with our bodies, making us more able to identify where you have any imbalances.

Yoga not only assists with the aches themselves, but also the stresses that often accompany it.

Below you will find the best asanas, or postures, to assist with upper and lower back aches. Please be mindful of your body when practicing, any twinges or pain you must immediately cease the exercise for that day and consider contacting your doctor.
